Launched in 2001, the .NAME generic top-level domain name extension is the single TLD supposed to be for personal web pages only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are popular by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to purchase john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Existing 3rd-level domains remained working.

You will have the opportunity to update the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our company if you have its EPP transfer authorization key from the present domain provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized.
